The Team

We are passionate about the need for solving eHealth and Health Informatics implementation issues including education. We see this as an essential building block underpinning the necessary reform in the health industry, enabling the population as a whole to have equitable access to safe and effective health care within a sustainable health system.

The Open eHealth Foundation Pty Ltd is the Trustee for the Open eHealth Collaborative Trust trading as the Global eHealth Collaborative (GeHCo).

GeHCo was founded by Dr Evelyn Hovenga, Heather Grain.  GeHCo works with global experts and leaders from around the globe.  Our collective health informatics work experiences cover hundreds of years.

An advisory committee oversees all GeHCo activities and makes recommendations to be considered by the Trustee according to agreed terms of reference and the Trust’s strategic goals. Each major project has its own advisory committee overseeing all aspects of and activities relating to that project.
